Senior J2EE / C++ Developer
We're in need of a Senior J2EE Developer with strong C++ skills for the development and extension of a suite ofcomplex mission-critical distributed applications.
The candidate should have a strong, proven experience working with Java development including JBoss. A background in other J2EE technologies is required.
The candidate must be detail oriented, and have the ability to follow through with deployment and system issues.
All candidates must have solid communication and documentation skills, and be able to function well in a consulting environment.
The ideal candidate would be required/desired to have the following skills:
* In-depth experience (3-4 years) using JBoss and J2EE
* Experience working in and deploying to UNIX based environment
* In-depth SOA skills – e.g., REST or SOAP – including exposing JBoss bean as Web Services.
* Strong working knowledge of Spring.
* Distributed computing skills: JMS, RMI, CORBA, HTTP
* Strong hands-on C++ development skills
The following is a strong plus:
* CORBA experience. Iona / Orbix experience is an extra strong plus
* MQ Series experience
* Strong Object-oriented modeling, design and development skills
* Experience using SQL. Direct experience with Oracle or DB2 is a strong plus
* Experience in working with multi-threaded systems
* Experience with RUP or similar iterative object-oriented development process
* Semiconductor manufacturing experience is a strong plus
