The User Interface Designer/Developer is responsible for creating and maintaining the visual identity of our web-based products, including design patterns and style guides. This role requires the ability to design delightful and intuitive interfaces that meet business goals and exceed users’ expectations almost exclusively in HTML, CSS and Javascript using the JQuery library.

- Implement and maximize usability throughout Web applications and portal Web pages.
- Conceptualize the work flow of Web applications, designs and construct user interfaces for applications and Web pages.
- Creates prototypes that demonstrate how the application looks and flows.
- Design intuitive interfaces based on principles of good design and usability.
- Construct application pages using simple techniques that ensure the pages are standards compliant, universally accessible, and cross-browser compatible.
- Take beyond mockup to starting point for other developers to add backend interaction.
Conduct usability research and analysis.
Skills & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Applications or related field.
- Minimum 5 years experience in related field.
- User-centered design focused.
- Ability to rapidly iterate through prototypes.
- A desire to work with people to improve systems and processes.
- Experience hand-coding HTML, CSS and Javascript based on web standards and best practices for scalability and accessibility.
- Must have an expert knowledge of building cross-browser user interfaces.
- Expert knowledge of Javascript and UI libraries such as JQuery.
- Have existing knowledge of rapid prototyping technologies.
